Ride the East Shore Trail

Looking for a relaxing ride on one of the most scenic paved routes in the Tahoe Basin?

ABOUT THE RIDE:

The recently completed East Shore Trail is a stunning paved route that takes riders along the coastline of Lake Tahoe and allows access to many of the beaches on the North Shore. Guests can park in the Flume Trail parking lot (located just behind Tunnel Creek Cafe), select from our high-quality standard or pedal-assist bikes, and catch the start of the trail right from where their car is parked.

The trail is a 6-mile out-and-back that runs from the base of our shop at Tunnel Creek Cafe and concludes at Sand Harbor State Beach.

(State park fee of $2 upon entry to Sand Harbor, all other beaches are public access)

BIKE RENTAL INFORMATION:

Pedal Assist Class 1 E-Bikes:

Make the hills on the Tahoe East Shore Trail a little easier with our comfortable Pedal Assist Class 1 E-bikes! We carry Specialized, Norco and Kona branded E-bikes in multiple sizes and styles. All E-bikes come equipped with hydraulic brakes and offer easy shifting. Our higher end Specialized models will be available on a reservation basis (cancellation policy: please cancel within 48 hours of reservation, or be subject to charge), while our many Norco and Kona E-bikes will be available for walk-ups.

*We do not offer any E-bikes with throttles

Standard path bike rentals:

Crush the trail the old-fashioned way on one of our high quality pedal bikes. Riders can choose from either Kona and Norco models to cruise the trail.

The bikes come specced with responsive disc brakes and 1by drivetrains in either a beach cruiser geometry or more traditional street bike style.
